Home Page: We used a flash presentation in the upper left hand corner that helped show that the school had existed for many years and gave a view into regular school activities. The site featured a expanding menu on the left. Images of this in operation can be seen below. We placed a small navigation block on the left to quickly take visitors to the page for the class their child would be in, while providing age ranges and grade equivalents. animated flash and easy navigation
Academic Page: Note that the inner pages have a different header. This conserves "above the fold" space. A random educational quote is displayed under the leaves. You can see the menu with one area open. When the user mouses over one of the main areas it exposes a submenu under it. expanding navigation
Art Page: Since each class had an art page, we used a image map for the navigation, thus clicking on a color takes you to that class's art page. We also used a flash presentation to showoff the different art projects that the students did. Used image map for navigation to related art pages
Curriculum Specialist Page: We used a FAQ list on the right of the page that would show the answer when you moused over the FAQ question. Used image map for navigation to related art pages
Academic Goals Page: Here you can see another view of the navigation in action. Note how we used a black and white image and changed the white/grey scale areas so that they used the background color of the page instead of white. Another view of the expanding navigation
